Your Organization is the sole owner of the information collected via the Software provided by DonorNetwork. We furnish you with the application, forms, and programs to collect and manage this information. In turn, DonorNetwork uses collected information to provide or improve the Software, and in additional ways more specifically described below.
DonorNetwork collects personally identifiable information at several points when your Organization chooses us as a service provider: when you upload this information to the Software, when you register for an account, and when you use certain DonorNetwork Software. DonorNetwork may also receive personally identifiable information about you from our business partners which include churches and dioceses that use our software for parish management.
The information DonorNetwork receives when your Organization uploads information includes but is not limited to your name, address, phone number, and email address. Financial Transaction Information
DonorNetwork does not accept or store any credit card information or bank account information. We use a third party intermediary or payment gateway to perform any financial information collection and transaction processing. This information includes but is not limited to credit card information or bank account information.
DonorNetwork uses “cookies”. Cookies are computer files containing limited amounts of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Generally, cookies work by assigning to your computer a unique number that has no meaning outside of the Software. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information; we use them to provide features such as personalization, and to save your user ID and password after you have entered a session so that you do not have to re-enter it repeatedly during that session. A cookie cannot read data off of your hard drive or read cookie files created by other sites. Information stored in cookies may be encrypted; however, we do not store your credit card number in cookies. While most web browsers automatically accept cookies, you can usually change your browser setting to prevent it. Keep in mind that not accepting cookies may make certain features of the Software unavailable to you.
